sustainability

We have many reasons that the environment is important to us as a company, for one, it directly impacts the resources and raw materials we rely on for our products.

We rely on timber for our Sprung Timber Flooring for example and have always made it a policy to only source from sustainable forests and not contribute to deforestation. Not only does protecting the environment help us ensure the long-term availability of these resources, it is also important for the community in which we operate.

As a family-owned business, we also have a responsibility to ensure that we are passing on a healthy and sustainable business to future generations. This is not only an ethical responsibility but also a business imperative.

Aura Sports is committed to sustainability as a company and recognises the important role it plays in protecting the environment and promoting social responsibility. As a leading provider of Sports Flooring, we understand the impact our products can have on the environment and society, and we are committed to reducing this impact through sustainable practices.

At Aura Sports we have implemented various measures to promote sustainability across our operations. We work to minimise waste and reduce our carbon footprint, we also strive to promote social responsibility and ethical business practices.

The UN Global Compact is a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of UN goals and issues embodied in the Sustainable Development Goals

(SDGs).

Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 15,000 companies and 3,000 non-business signatories based in over 160 countries, and more than 70 Local Networks.

As a part of this initiative, we encourage you to visit our profile on the UN Global Compact website and learn more about our latest sustainability work.
